It's not the fanciest or anything, but it's certainly not sketchy or dirty. Fresh paint, clean sheets and bedding, well stocked, and well air conditioned. The guy at the front desk was super kind and helpful. There's no breakfast. But again, while it's not perfectly pristine, if you need a place to sleep, it's clean and safe and the staff is welcoming.
Fairly clean room , the heating/ac was really dusty.and could be vacuumed alittle better. Beds were great and really happy they were pet friendly. It was just what we were looking for. Lady at front desk ( guessing owner ) was very nice.
Not a high end motel, but it was functional for our need of having a place for the night. It is an older place, but it was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred a coffee maker in the room. There was a microwave and a fridge.
This was a decent stay - overpriced for what it is but all the hotels around are high priced too. It's an old room but the bed sleeps super well and the shower wall good, and that's all we needed for our 3 week cross-country motorcycle trip. I would stay again.
Enjoyed my stay. It was retro. I like the colors in the room. It was quiet. The city was great. It served a perfect purpose after a 12 hour drive. Pet friendly. If you don't declare your pet there could be a $150 fee. I was disappointed there was no coffee pot in the room. But there was a microwave and a refrigerator. And a nice television. Is an excellent alternative to the other offerings in town. The parking area is a little difficult but manageable. The staff was friendly.
Clean rooms and good service for a good price! They do have thin walls and they decided to put me next to literally the only other person on my side of the hotel. Kinda annoying, but I put on the AC fan and it was fine.
I don't know where these people stayed but I have nothing but good things to say about Motel 7. For the price you pay you cannot beat it. Most of all, the best thing about it, at least in the room I stayed in, the walls are cinder block, meaning, QUIET. No noise at all. You could go next door and pay 3-4 times as much in the BW and listen to your neighbor fight with his wife, OR, making up with his wife, in those paper thin walls. Centrally located with Walmart down the road, a nice little bar within walking distance, gas stations right next door, right off I-80.
Far better experience than we were expecting! This ageing motel is being well maintained and the front desk staff are courteous and helpful, even with somewhat grumpy late arrivals like us. The beds were clean and comfortable and the shower recently remodeled. Fresh hot coffee was available along with a small continental breakfast in the lobby in the morning.
